Diya Pakistan Scholarship 2023 in Pakistan

To be eligible for the Diya Pakistan Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• School Students, College Students (FA FSc), University students for BS and MS levels are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks at all levels.
• Applicants must be enrolled in government institutions.
• Students receiving scholarships of more than Rs. 25,000 per annum from other organizations are not eligible for the Diya Scholarship.
• PhD and MPhil students are not eligible for the scholarship, but students pursuing MPhil directly after graduation are eligible. MPhil after MA/MSc/MS are not eligible.

Required Documents

New applicants for the Diya Pakistan Scholarship are required to provide several scanned documents to support their application. These documents include:

• Head of Institute Attestation Form (HOI)
• Self CNIC
• Father CNIC
• Mother CNIC
• Guardian’s CNIC (if other than applicant’s parents)
• Matric Certificate
• Family Registration Certificate form from NADRA
• Intermediate Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree (If Applicant is in Master Level Program)
• Hifz Certificate (if you are Hafiz Al-Quran, 5% marks will be given additional)
• Disability Certificate (If exists)
• All University Semester / Yearly results certificates where the result is declared.
• Fee Receipts or Bank Challan for the current year.
• Salary Slip (If the guardian is employed)
• Pension document, showing name page and pension amount page. (If the guardian is a pensioner)
• Enrollment Certificate of all brothers and sisters who are studying. (Only for those whose father/guardian is a non-salaried person)
• Electricity Bill
• College Card if available.
• If you studied in a private college at the Intermediate Level, then provide a Fee receipt or Payment Certificate from the college about your dues.

How To Apply!

To apply for the Diya Pakistan Scholarship, there are different procedures depending on the level of education. Students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate level programs can apply online through the web application system available at https://diyapak.org/apply-scholarship/. However, students studying at school and intermediate levels will have to apply manually through their respective schools/colleges.

For first-time applicants, the online scholarship application must be filled out, and scanned copies of the required documents must be uploaded. The necessary scanned documents include the Head of Institute Attestation Form, CNICs of the applicant, father, mother, and guardian (if applicable), Matric Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree (if applicable), Family Registration Certificate from NADRA, Disability Certificate (if applicable), all university semester/yearly results certificates, fee receipts or bank challan, and enrollment certificates of siblings studying at non-salaried schools.

Once the application is approved, a cheque will be dispatched to the institute within 10 to 30 days, and after verification, it will be handed over to the student. The scholarship is paid annually from 1st July to 30th June, and students may apply for renewal if they continue their studies in the next academic year. The cheque can be encashed at any Meezan Bank Branch by showing the original NIC Card and providing a copy of the NIC to the bank.
