- Citizens of Australia and New Zealand are not eligible for this award.
- AGRTPS scholarship will be given based on the student’s academic merit, academic research training, and research indicators and performance.
- Students should intend to study on a full-time basis.
- Satisfy all the entry requirements for a higher degree by research, including the English Language Requirements.

How to Apply for the Flinders University Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (AGRTPS)?
To ensure your application is complete, please follow the steps:
- You must make contact with an academic staff member and get an informal agreement from that person to supervise you if successful.
- You have to upload the supervisor agreement in the online application form. Applicants who do not have a supervisor at the time of application will not be considered for scholarship.
- To Apply for the AGRTP Scholarship, you will need to first apply for admission to a Higher Degree by research (Master, or PhD).
- If you already have an offer, you don’t need to apply again for admission. International applicants can apply for admission online via apply via Studylink. This link will tell you how to apply for admission.
- After the submission of the application, a Flinders student ID will be created.
- Now AGRTP Scholarship Part: You will need to activate your account using the Student ID from your registration and your date of birth provided at the time of registration. Activate your account from here.
- Once you have activated your account, you will receive a Flinders Authentication Name (FAN), you can then submit your application for the international HDR scholarship group.
