Eligibility Criteria
The candidates, when submit the application form should attach the scanned copies of the following documents:
Bachelor / Master degree:
- Welcome letter from Kazakhstan university (if available).
- copy of native identification document.
- copy of document on previous level of education (with transcript) (notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian or English).
- motivational essay in Kazakh or English or Russian.
- letter of recommendation in Kazakh, Russian, or English from the educational organization in which the applicant studied, or from the employer.
- A medical certificate verifying the absence of a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and AIDS disease is issued by an official health authority in the candidate’s country of residence.
PhD degree:
- copy of native identification document.
- invitation letter from Kazakhstan university (if available).
- PhD research proposal in Kazakh or Russian or English languages.
- copy of document on previous level of education (with transcript) (notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian or English).
- motivational essay in Kazakh, or Russian, or English.
- letter of recommendation in Kazakh or Russian or English from the educational organization in which the applicant studied, or from the employer.
- In addition, a medical certificate from an official health authority of the candidate’s country of residence must be submitted regarding the absence of a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection) and AIDS diseases.
- An international certificate confirming language proficiency.
Lenguage Requirements
English language:
- TOEFL PBT – no less than 453 score,
- TOEFL ITP – no less than 460 score,
- TOEFL IBT – no less than 46 score,
- IELTS – no less than 5.5;
German language:
- DSH, Niveau B2,
- TestDaF-Prufung Niveau B2,
French language:
- Reading and listening sections must not be lower than B2,
- Level B2 of the DELF,
- Level B2 of DALF,
- TCF – no less than 50 score.
A person who speaks these languages natively does not require a certificate confirming their knowledge of a foreign language.
